The Brandon community has earned the place
of "the fastest growing city" in South Dakota. Brandon offers all the best of a
small town with a large city advantage. The school system is noted for high academics and
winning sports teams. In addition to supporting the school activities, Brandon residents
host a 3 on 3 basketball tournament each June and the "arts-in-the park" each
July. Small town friendliness and a low crime rate are major drawing cards. Outdoor
enthusiasts enjoy the Big Sioux Recreational Parks, the Palisades State Park and the
Beaver Creek Nature Center all within biking distance.
